What will happen if you hit a Bird with your Porsche at 250km/h
It's because of the environmentalists - from what I've heard, their lobbyists forced all German car manufacturers to limit the top speed to 250 km/h.

Going 420 mph In A 30 mph Zone?
It's been almost exactly three years since we wrote about a UK driver who received an automated ticket from a speeding camera, clocking his car cruising at a speedy 406 mph. The police chalked it up to a "clerical error." However, apparently those clerical errors are still happening, as a cab driver in the UK has now been issued a ticket for traveling 420 mph in a 30 mph zone.

Shelby GT350 stolen 26 years ago returned to insurance company, not owner
From the bible of the collector car world comes a cautionary tale of a stolen Shelby and a good lesson in caveat emptor. John Draneas of Collector Car Market recounts the story of a 1965 Shelby GT350 that was stolen back in 1979. The insurance company paid the owner $6500 and the vehicle was never seen from again. Well, not with its original serial number at any rate. While running a cursory check of eBay, Shelby American Automobile Club Registrar Howard Pardee came across a nice looking '65 GT350. With a little legwork, he discovered that the car had been reported stolen and unrecovered back in 1979. He contacted the eBay seller and that's when things got really interesting.

DeLorean was one of only a handful of U.S. entrepreneurs to have dared to launch a car company during the last 75 years.

Wer im schönen Land Tirol wandern geht und sein Auto neben der Straße abstellt, muss aufpassen. In manchen Gegenden dürfen Kühe frei herumlaufen. Beschädigen sie dabei ein Fahrzeug, so hat der Besitzer Pech gehabt.
Für den Schaden brauchen weder der Tierhalter noch dessen Haftpflichtversicherung aufzukommen.
