Suzuki Biplane

From the two-wheeled side of the business, Suzuki will present the Biplane concept motorcycle in Tokyo next month. If you're looking for a bunch of technical details, all we can tell you for certain is that it's powered by a V4 of undetermined size. Beyond that, this particular design study is aircraft-inspired in that the intent is to give the rider the same feeling as being in an open-canopied biplane.

And the latest must-have? An office on four wheels

The iPod has transformed the lives of commuters, shielding them from fellow humans with a wall of sound. The iPhone is helping to make businessmen accessible around the clock. Now the iCar could become the Next Big Thing: essentially an attempt to create an office and entertainment centre on four wheels, further blurring boundaries between work and private life.

Speed Freaks: The 10 Fastest Green Cars on the Planet

Among old-school gearheads, conventional wisdom is that gasoline is where the fun is, was and always will be (until the pumps run dry). Alternative-fuel automobiles -- hybrids, diesels, electrics and the like -- are dorky, cumbersome and slow. But a growing body of evidence suggests environmental consciousness doesn't have to mean boring. To wit: 10 cars -- funky, fun and each the fastest for its power source, from an American-built ethanol-fueled roadster that runs like the wind, to a three-seat urban buggy from France that runs on the wind.

The DeLorean is Coming Back

Deloreans are still quite popular these days, especially considering they were a fairly short-lived and limited brand that went out of production way back in 1982. Of course the movie Back to the Future can claim most of the credit for the cult following the car received, but the gull-wing doors and space-age design is what got it chosen for the movie in the first place. And now the thousands of refurbished and rebuilt DeLoreans on the roads will have to share the street with new models, because the DeLorean is going back into production.
