Blog Songs
Having followed a number of weblogs for half a decade now, it's an appropriate time for me to reflect on the cultural impact they've had outside of our insular corner of the Internet. No, there's no sitcom about bloggers or any major musicals based on the lives of our breed of geeks, but there is one type of expression that weblogs have embraced for years that hasn't been properly documented.
Blog songs. There are a lot of really entertaining songs by, for, and about bloggers, and some of them are even deliberately entertaining.

Blog-Tracking May Gain Ground Among U.S. Intelligence Officials
Blogs, short for Web logs, are personal online journals. Individuals post them on Web sites to report or comment on news especially, but also on their personal lives or most any subject.
Some blogs are whimsical and deal with "soft" subjects. Others, though, are cutting edge in delivering information and opinion.

Fight Back Against Spammers!
WWW Robots (also called wanderers or spiders) are programs that traverse pages in the Web by recursively retrieving linked pages. When a spammer's robot visits your website, blog, discussion forum, etc, they will check all the pages that you link to for email addresses.
Now you can fight back against their robots!

See Me, Blog Me
Turned on by online opinion sites? Then get ready for Web video journals By JEFFREY RESSNER
Monday, Apr. 19, 2004 Boston-based music-video producer Steve Garfield, 46, is no ordinary blogger. Instead of simply posting his thoughts online in a chatty weblog like millions of others around the world, he links a Canon GL2 digital video camera to his laptop and uploads short clips of protest rallies, traffic short-cuts and even news events onto his personal Internet site.

Kommentare postet.

World Population Reaches 6.4 Billion: What To Do?
A "population clock" at ibiblio.org projects that world human population will reach 6.4 billion on January 27, 2004. Over 97% of population growth is now in developing countries (Haub, 2003). This growth will worsen the impact of many negative social and ecological trends.
