White House says 28 pages of 9/11 report show no evidence of Saudi role
After years of political wrangling, the suppressed section of a 2002 congressional report that detailed possible ties between the Saudi government and the 9/11 terrorist attacks was released today. The classified documents have been the source of heated speculation for years, as they highlighted alleged links between high-ranking members of the Saudi royal family and the 9/11 hijackers. Many political figures who had previously seen the report led the charge calling for its release, including former Sen. Bob Graham, who said the 28 pages “point a very strong finger at Saudi Arabia,” and Minnesota Congressman Rick Nolan, who said the pages “confirm that much of the rhetoric preceding the U.S. attack on Iraq was terribly wrong.”

Wikileaks obtains 10 years of messages, interviews from Osama bin Laden translated by CIA
Wikileaks.org, the website dedicated to leaking previously unreleased documents, has obtained 10 years of messages and interviews by Osama bin Laden, the leader of al-Qaeda. The documents were translated by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) in the United States.
The nearly three hundred page, 'official use only' packet from 2004, translated by the Foreign Broadcast Information Service (FBIS), a division of the CIA, includes interviews with bin Laden from various news agencies and also includes messages he sent directly to the U.S. from the periods of 1994 to 2004.

9/11: Keine Anklage gegen "20. Attentäter"
Washington (dpa) - Das US-Pentagon hat ohne Angaben von Gründen die Anklage gegen Mohammed al-Kahtani fallengelassen, der als "20. Attentäter" der Anschläge vom 11. September 2001 galt.
Zugleich habe die US-Militärjustiz jedoch die Anklagen gegen den Ex-Chefplaner des Terrornetzes El Kaida, Chalid Scheich Mohammed, sowie vier weitere mutmaßliche Beteiligte der verheerenden Terroranschläge von New York und Washington bestätigt, teilte das Pentagon am Dienstag mit. Im Falle einer Verurteilung droht ihnen die Todesstrafe. Die fünf sitzen im US-Gefangenenlager Guantánamo Bay (Kuba).

Another new Bin Laden tape... [Video]
A new As Sahab tape from Osama Bin Laden has been obtained by LauraMansfield.com. The video is entitled "The Wills of the Heroes of the Raids on New York and Washington. The Will of the Martyr (as we see him) Abu Mus'ab al Shehri With a forward by Sheikh Osama bin Laden, may Allah protect him".
The video, 47 minutes 16 seconds in length, features an introduction by Osama Bin Laden. Bin Laden is shown in a still image, dressed as he was in last week's tape and apparently in the same location. An audio tape plays in the background. The still image is superimposed on news video footage of the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center.

Raw 9/11 Footage [Video]
A 15 minute amateur video from 9/11 showing firefighters organizing on the street, police rescuing an injured officer and different angles of the burning towers. I'm not sure if this is new footage or not.

Victims
The world is all kinds of fucked up right at the moment. Bad people are still doing bad things and it doesn't look to get better anytime soon.
It's hard to believe that today marks the 6 year anniversary of the 9/11 attacks and we still remember the New York Skyline as having the Twin Towers. So much has gone on in the world since then that it is hard to keep in perspective the thousands of people that died that day.

Photojournalist Allan Tannenbaum was at ground zero on September 11, 2001 and has since been chronicling the lives of first responders like NYC Paramedic Marvin Bethea, above, who became sick because of debris exposure that day.
Many of these people lack proper health care, many have protested what they believe to be an unequal and inadequate distribution of aid. Many have died.

Alex Jones Arrested In New York
Media activist Alex Jones was arrested by New York Police Department officers while filming a documentary about the sixth anniversary of September 11th and joining the protest against the official version of what happened on 9/11.
According to Infowars sources Jones was singled out by police from the head of a crowd of about 400 9/11 Truth Activists and protesters. He was verbally accosted and forced by the police officers to present identification which he was not carrying at the time.

Bin Laden 'to issue 9/11 video'
Osama Bin Laden is said to be preparing to release a video message to the American people to coincide with the sixth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.
The announcement was made on an Islamist website, where al-Qaeda's media arm frequently posts messages.
US homeland security officials could not confirm the existence of a tape, and said there was "no credible information of an imminent threat".

Director's Statement on the Release of the 9/11 IG Report Executive Summary
Earlier this month, Congress passed a bill implementing some of the recommendations of the 9/11 Commission. The legislation, lengthy and complex, includes a provision dealing with the report that CIA’s Office of Inspector General prepared on the performance of our agency prior to September 11th. The act gave me 30 days to make available to the public a version of the report’s executive summary, declassified to the maximum extent possible. Today, well within deadline, I am releasing that material.
