Judge Grants File Sharers a New Protection From the RIAA
U.S. District Judge Cynthia Rufe issued an order that internet service providers must notify people whose IPs are being subpoenaed by the RIAA for alleged file-sharing. The ISPs must notify the customers of their rights before their names are given.
