Test can tell the true champagne from the bogus bubbly
Spanish researchers say they've developed a test to unmask sparkling wines that claim to be true champagne.
The test analyzes the wine, looking for concentrations of trace metals unique to the soil of the Champagne region of France which are typically found in the grapes.
