Where no man has gone before


As of today, the home of the Space Needle also is home to space aliens and spaceships, including Star Trek's Enterprise, thanks to the opening of what's billed as the world's first museum dedicated to science fiction. The Science Fiction Museum and Hall of Fame, brainchild of Microsoft co-founder and sci-fi fan Paul Allen, who donated $20 million to build it, has a lofty mission worthy of Captain Kirk: to "explore the universe of science fiction."
