IOC Vice President Sentenced To Prison

One of the vice presidents of the International Olympic Committee has been given a two-and-a-half year prison sentence in relation to corruption charges. Kim Un-Yong was found guilty of embezzlement and accepting bribes in South Korea.

The embezzlement charges are in relation to the many South Korean sporting organisations which were under Kim's control. He was given a lenient sentenced based on his age, he's 73, and his contribution to South Korean sport.
