Teacher in Peru kills lice but blinds students
The school teacher used alcohol and seeds from the cherimoya fruit to wash the 4 to 5 yr olds hair to rid them of lice.
Four of the students are now blind and 20 are suffering from severe eye irritation because the mixture ran down into their eyes.
The anti-lice mixture is used in Peru on it's impoverished coastal towns. Police are not taking any action against the teacher.
