Operation Red Dawn: A Soldier's Perspective
This series is a 2-parter devoted to my experience while taking part in Operation Red Storm, the mission that successfully captured Saddam Hussein last week outside of Tikrit. In the first part, I’m going to take some time and describe how our unit works and what our responsibilities are within the frame of the 4th Infantry Division so you’ll have some understanding of military terms when I talk about the raid itself.
