Pot-or-not case sits as legal clock ticks
A complaint involving the destruction of a crop at first suspected of being marijuana sits idle like fallow ground.
A recent caller to The Sun Herald's anonymous Sound Off column raised the question of progress in the complaint filed on behalf of Marion "Bucky" Waltman, who claims the Harrison County Sheriff's Department destroyed property, including more than 500 kenaf plants grown for deer food, in a raid Sept. 8.
