American gourmets pay 35,000 dollars for single Italian truffle
A single Tuscan truffle weighing in at 410 grammes (14.35 ounces) was sold this weekend near Florence for 35,000 dollars (30,000 euros), or more than six times its weight in gold, the event's organisers said.
