Using Car as Meth Lab

Two men were arrested on drug charges after security guards at a Wal-Mart spotted them buying boxes of a base ingredient for the narcotic methamphetamine, which police say the men were cooking up in their car.

Keith Simmons, 27, of Edgewater and Ronald Gross, 34, of Oak Hill were charged with possession with intent to sell, manufacture of methamphetamine and possession of listed ingredients for manufacture of methamphetamine, said Lake City police Capt. Gary Laxton.
