RIAA extends its grasp......to taxi drivers
Finland's Supreme Court has ruled that taxi drivers must pay royalty fees if they play music in their car while a paying customer is in the back seat, even if it's just the radio.
The case, based on one driver's refusal to pay, is likely to set a precedent for the nearly 9,500 cab drivers in the Nordic country.
