Far right Haider quits
Announcing his resignation, Haider said his party's showing reflected "mistrust in me and my policies" .
Joerg Haider, whose praise of Hitler and anti-foreigner rhetoric helped fuel the rise of his party into government, has quit in the wake of their disastrous showing in the Austrian general election.
