America's National Forests

Why preserve the nation’s forests for future generations when those trees can be chopped down and turned into profits today?

With 156 national forests across the country to choose from, the only trouble is deciding where to buy: the spruce-hemlock temperate rainforests of the Pacific Northwest…the broadleaved deciduous forests of the Southeast…Alaska’s Tongass, the largest remaining temperate rainforest on the planet–or maybe a clearcut from each!
