Text Messages from the Gov’t

Yesterday, they started sending us text messages at night telling us to go back to normal, to go to work and to start our life in an ordinary fashion. They kept sending messages saying that school should start again. A lot of text messages kept being sent on phones. But what happened in the morning I think, is that absolutely nobody went even close to schools. I would say that 98% of shops are closed in Tripoli. If you notice, they started cleaning the streets and painting over the writings on walls and the marks of the fire that happened in the past few days they just made a big move all at once to make the city look like nothing happened. But if you look closely you can still see that they did a very bad job painting it over. It looks like they are hiding something and if you look above you can see bullet marks on a lot of buildings, squares and even on some Mosques. The people who are going around the city are obviously not from Tripoli. You can tell from the license plates. Every area here has it is own license plate, so when you go around and look at the license plates you can see that 90% of them are not locals.
