Sevilla policeman arrested as mastermind of major drug theft


The 100 kilos of cocaine stolen from police cells were worth 10 million Euro on the black market

A National Police internal investigation has identified those responsible for the theft last year of 100 kilos of cocaine which went missing from the main police station in Sevilla. Amongst the three people arrested on Saturday is a former officer who was with the Udyco organised crime and drugs squad at the time the drugs were stolen and who left the force to set up a business. He is named by El Mundo as Lars S.M., aged 34.
