Radcliffe sets marathon record
Paula Radcliffe capped a sensational year by setting a new women's world best in winning the Chicago Marathon on Sunday. She crossed the finish line in Chicago's Grant Park in two hours, 17 minutes and 18 seconds - 89 seconds inside the old record of Kenyan Catherine Ndereba.
