Google Moon Upgrades with “Street” Views

Google has launched an updated version of their Google Moon maps. You’ll note that there are new astronaut icons that offer information bubbles for landing sites. There’s also a new offering of panoramas of the moon’s surface, which have been taken by the Apollo astronauts. For those of you that knew about the “cheese surface” easter egg found in the previous version of Google Moon maps, you’ll see that this is now gone, and has been replaced with the new “Street View” panoramas of the moon’s surface.
