Project Blackbox

The Blackbox is a prototype of the world’s first virtualized datacenter built into a shipping container from Sun Microsystems. It can accommodate 250 x64-based servers with 1000 cores, provide 1.5 petabytes (= 1,500 TB) of disk storage, 7 terabytes of memory and handle up to 10,000 desktop users simultaneously.
