Internet To Get a 1000 Percent Speed Boost
The speed with which data moves around the Internet could jump more than 1,000 percent with the approval by a Colorado group of a new cable standard.
The industry's standard-settings unit, CableLabs, plans to endorse this month technology that will let operators boost speeds from 400 percent to 1,600 percent over existing lines, USA Today said Wednesday.
