Make magazine: premier issue


If you are like most computer techs, chances are you have a whole bookshelf or three allocated to holding all your technical manuals. No doubt, you also have a whole stack of those great technical books from publishing house O'Reilly and Associates, like the book Knoppix Hacks by Ars Technica's own Kyle "greenfly" Rankin. So when O'Reilly announced that they were going to be publishing a magazine about Do-It-Yourself (DIY) technology projects for the hacker/hobbyist, there was naturally a huge buzz in the tech community about this. In case you missed out on the hype, let us first start with a little background on this new publication.
