An einer katholischen Uni in Taiwan sind Pornos jetzt Seminarthema. Der Kurs war schnell ausgebucht, aber bei Hardcore-Szenen halten sich manche Teilnehmer dann doch die Augen zu. Ihre größte Sorge: Wenn ich eine gute Note bekomme - wie erkläre ich's dann meinen Eltern?

Scientologen narren Uno und Politiker
Mit der Initiative "Jugend für Menschenrechte" versucht Scientology Menschen zu erreichen, die der umstrittenen Glaubensgemeinschaft eher kritisch gegenüberstehen. Nun ist dem Tarnverein der erste deutsche Politiker auf den Leim gegangen - und die Uno.

Vatican to get own YouTube channel
The Vatican will soon have its own channel on the video sharing site YouTube where the Catholic faithful or the curious will be able to see Pope Benedict or Church events, a Vatican source said on Saturday.

RIAA Tries To Appeal Order Allowing Internet TV Court Broadcast
The RIAA has appealed the order entered several days ago allowing the January 22nd hearing in SONY BMG Music v. Tenenbaum to be streamed over internet TV. Additionally, they've made a motion for a stay.

ISPs can profit from busting file sharers
Jerry Scroggin, the owner of a Louisiana Internet Service Provider, says he's skeptical of a service that proposes to pay ISPs to police their networks for pirated music and movies.
I wrote about Scroggin last month following the music industry's announcement that it would scale back a longtime strategy of suing individuals suspected of music piracy, and instead enlist the help of ISPs to thwart copyright violations

Catholic parents criticise promotion of the condom in Spain
The Spanish Ministry of Health is promoting condom use and cheaper prices.
The Confederation of Catholic Parents Associations in Spain (CONCAPA) has called on the Ministry for Health to withdraw the advertising campaigns promoting the use of condoms to avoid unwanted pregnancies.
