New Exploit Uses JavaScript To Compromise Intranets, VPNs
Security researcher Robert Hansen, known as Rsnake, has developed a new class of attack that abuses a weakness in many corporate intranets and most browsers to compromise remote machines with persistent JavaScript backdoors. Threatpost reports: 'The attacks rely on the long-term caching policies of some browsers and take advantage of the collisions that can occur when two different networks use the same non-routable IP address space, which happens fairly often because the amount of address space is quite small. The bottom line is that even a moderately skilled attacker has the ability to compromise remote machines without the use of any vulnerability or weakness in the client software.'

The not-so-secret life of Chinese hackers
Most of the time when you read stories about the much reviled Chinese hacker it's in the context of some cyberattack perpetrated on some website that has stupidly dared to hurt the feelings of the Chinese people. Formula 1 Goes Retro-Racing With the Return of Lotus
Amidst all of the bickering, wrangling and hand-wringing consuming the Formula One teams when they aren’t on the track comes word that Lotus could return to the sport next year. Yes, that would be the same Lotus founded by Colin Chapman, one of the greatest innovators racing ever saw. The same Lotus that revolutionized F1 on more than one occasion.
The retro-racing vibe goes deeper. Brabham, the outfit launched by “Black Jack” Brabham and once owned by F1 capo di tutti capi Bernie Ecclestone has its eyes on the grid. There’s also some mumbling about Lola and March fielding cars next year.

Kichern mit Kiffern
Handlung?

Running Spirals Illusion
Before I show you how our newest optical illusion works, I’d like to mention we got ourselves a brand new widget - our very own iPhone app, to be more precise. Took some time to get this developed and then approved by Apple, but the results are finally here. If you own an iPhone, and would like to show some kind of support to this website, I’d appreciate highly you getting this app to your iPhone.
