Happy Anniversary, Antville!
Things are starting to move with Apache and Helma.
Jason van Zyl und ich beginnen jetzt damit, den Code für die Übernahme durch Apache vorzubereiten und eine Handvoll Committer zusammenzutrommeln. Eine sehr sinnvolle Apache-Regel ist die, dass Projekte nur mit solider Committer-Basis übernommen werden.
Auf der Helma-Seite hat Robert heute Antville eingecheckt. Antville umfasst derzeit ein Blog-Tool samt Image-Verwaltung, Kommentar-Funktion und Skin-Editor. Ich bin guter Hoffnung, dass es es sich zu einer Standard-Hop-Application in Sachen Weblogs und darüber hinaus entwickeln wird, weswegen ich alle Hopisten einlade, Antville auszuchecken und bei der Weiterentwicklung mitzuhelfen. Ahh-madillos: Four orphaned babies nursed after mother is killed by poachers
He is so tiny that a plant pot makes a roomy enclosure. This four-day-old armadillo is one of four being cared for by an environmentalist after their mother was killed by poachers.
Due to shortage of space in the local zoo, activist Kamilo Lara is caring for the animals at his home in Managua, Nicaragua.

Koalition einigt sich über Internetsperren
Union und SPD haben sich auf einen Entwurf für das geplante Gesetz gegen Kinderpornografie geeinigt. Die Sozialdemokraten konnten sich mit vielen Einwänden durchsetzen. So soll jetzt ein Kontrollgremium die Sperrlisten des BKA auf Korrektheit überprüfen. Nutzerdaten sollen nicht erfasst werden.

Diese Frage wurde beim Kongress des International Press Instituts (IPI) in Helsinki, an dem rund 200 Journalisten aus aller Welt teilnahmen, am Dienstag heftig diskutiert. Für Peter Bergen, den Terrorexperten von CNN, ist das eindeutig: "Wir Journalisten müssen Fragen stellen, warum unschuldige Menschen getötet wurden. Das ist die einzige Möglichkeit, Menschen wie Osama bin Laden damit zu konfrontieren." Bergen hat 1997 das erste TV-Interview mit Bin Laden geführt.

It focuses on the mid-1980s London soul radio stations which introduced the mastermix genre to the UK. The sounds on this site are predominantly taken from FM pirate broadcasts, recorded to cassette. Often the recordings suffer from interference, drop outs, print-through and occasional 'record button' accidents. But generally they have a warm, authentic quality to them. Browse through the Mixes links on the menu. You can also find station idents, jingles and adverts from back in the day. I'm also building up a collection of pirate stickers, documents, t-shirts and other Memorabilia. For info about the radio stations see the Station Information page. Es gibt mal wieder ein Techno Doku-Video auf YouTube - The History of Electronic Music von 2005 mit Interviews von den alten Hasen wie Sven Väth, Joey Beltram, Talla 2 XLC, Westbam etc, die dann erneut erzählen, wie das damals angefangen hat und Paul van Dyk gibt sogar Einblicke in sein tiefes technisches Verständnis ;)
