Rapidshare Ordered To Filter Content
TorrentFreak reports that the Regional Court in Hamburg, Germany, has ruled that file-hosting service Rapidshare must proactively filter certain content. Music industry outfit GEMA asked the court to ban Rapidshare from making 5,000 tracks from its catalogue available on the Internet.

Below is the text from the Preface to World Drug Report 2009 - dominated by a detailed rebuttal of the growing calls for a debate on legal regulation of drug production and supply. We have deconstructed these kind of critiques so many times before, we won’t be doing it again here - other than to observe it is the same confused mix of misrepresentations, straw man arguments, and logical fallacies that we have been used hearing from the UNODC's drug warriors. As an unsurprising result, the word in its current form stands out significantly in the glossary of rock and metal’s gruesome grimoire.

Quincy police arrested a man advertising his wares with the words “420 help is here” on the online classified site Craigslist. Drug detectives knew that in the cannabis culture, 420 means getting high on marijuana.

UN: World hunger at all-time high due to economic slowdown
The number of hungry people in the world is projected to reach an all-time high of 1.02 billion this year, according to a report published by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). The report blames this latest spike in world hunger chiefly on the global economic recession, which has increased unemployment and reduced incomes among the poor, leading to greater food insecurity.
