DJ Spooky's Movie Remix
When The Birth of a Nation was released in 1915, it sought to recast the Civil War and the pains of Reconstruction as being fundamentally caused by African-Americans. It also served as a landmark in American cinema, and is hailed as a masterpiece today. In response, DJ Spooky has "remixed" the movie and released it on DVD under the title "Rebirth of a Nation."

Illegal drugs such as Ecstasy showing up as cartoon-shaped pills in KC
Drugs shaped like Snoopy, Transformers and President Barack Obama’s head recently showed up on Kansas City area streets, adding to a trend that worries police and health experts.
Colorful Ecstasy pills started showing up last year shaped as Homer and Bart Simpson, Ninja Turtles and other characters. As more of the pills that look like vitamins or candy go out locally and nationwide, they put children at great risk, police and experts said.

Drug cartel tunnelers target U.S. border town
A resident walking near the rusted boundary fence in this Arizona border city last month reported suspicious knocking coming from an abandoned warehouse to the Border Patrol.
The agents found two men constructing the exit for a sophisticated but unfinished tunnel from Mexico. The discovery was no great surprise because authorities have been finding tunnels every two or three weeks all year.

Kaspersky beats Zango in malware classification case
Kaspersky Lab has secured a legal victory against notorious adware firm Zango, with a ruling that goes a long way towards protecting security software developers from nuisance lawsuits from the developers of internet pests in future.
The judgment might also protects security researchers from legal threats when disclosing vulnerabilities.

The European Space Agency (Esa) has released a stunning image of the spiral galaxy M51, otherwise known as the Whirlpool Galaxy.
It is a composite of images taken by Europe's Herschel space observatory and the Hubble Space Telescope.

14 Children’s Show Characters That Were Probably Potheads
So one day I was babysitting my niece and nephew and watching cartoons with them. As we were watching whatever cartoon we were watching (I have a bad memory) I started thinking about kids show characters who were stoners. Most of the characters I came up with are not confirmed stoners but some definitely are.
Just like in real society, I am sure there are probably many more kids show characters who were potheads then we will ever know because they don't admit it. Oh well, here are 14 who I am pretty sure weed heads.

Texas Man Catches Fish With Human-Like Teeth
Fisherman Scott Curry reeled in the 20-pound fish on Buffalo Springs Lake and immediately noticed the catch had human-like teeth.
A game warden photographed the fish and is attempting to identify it.

VIBE Shutting Down
