Massive Attack - Geschichtsstunde live

How Crocs Crashed
Success is sometimes your own worst enemy. Just ask the management and stockholders at Crocs.
A hot brand ends up in one of two different ways. It burns bright too fast and fizzles. Brands like this are known as fads. Or a brand burns hot then continues at a steady simmer. Brands like this are known as iconic.
Believe it or not, whether your brand will become a fad or an icon depends on your strategy more than you think. The good news is the fate of your brand is very much in your control. The bad news is it may be too late for Crocs.

Alkotest negativ, Patient betrunken

Paper seeks marijuana reviewer - Dream job for pot lovers advertised in Colorado newspaper
For some it will sound like a job too good to be true - a newspaper in Colorado is seeking to hire a journalist to be a reviewer for the state's marijuana outlets.
The move follows an explosion in the number of so-called pot shops after states such as Colorado and California legalised the drug for medicinal purposes.

Andy Milonakis Has No Change For Homeless People, Just Weed
MTV's resident weirdo Andy Milonakis was pictured last night handing a bag of weed to a homeless guy who probably would have been happy to get a few quarters. I think it's safe to say that this is the luckiest homeless guy ever. The 33 year old man-boy proceeded to let the world know about afterwards via twitter

2009 UN World Drug report - The Big Picture
The 2009 United Nations World Drug report, released earlier this year, notes that 2009 marks "the end of the first century of drug control (it all started in Shanghai in 1909)", and that the illicit drug market worldwide has now become a $320 billion-per-year industry. As drug-related violence in Mexico appears to continue unabated, and crackdowns in Afghanistan are being made against its massive opium crops, new efforts are also being made worldwide in methods of enforcement and treatment of recovering addicts. Collected here are a handful of recent images from the rough world of illegal drugs across the globe. (37 photos total)

Don't legalize marijuana - Christian Science Monitor
The following editorial was published recently by the Christian Science Monitor:
The federal government has limited resources to fight drugs, and funds should not be wasted on prosecuting users and providers of medical marijuana who comply with state laws, the Obama administration said this week.
While this argument may indeed seem a sensible prioritizing of federal effort and dollars, the White House and the public should realize it comes with a cost.
