Protests add pressure for Copenhagen climate deal
In the Danish capital, delegates from 190 nations were gathering for the start of the December 7-18 meeting. The biggest U.N. climate talks in history are aimed at working out a new pact to curb global warming, replacing the 1997 Kyoto Protocol.
Among protests, activists in Berlin, posing as world leaders, sat inside a giant aquarium that was gradually filled with water to highlight the risks of rising sea levels from melting glaciers and ice sheets on Greenland and Antarctica.

World Cup games to be filmed in 3D
The 2010 World Cup in South Africa will be filmed in 3D for the first time, it has been announced.
Up to 25 of the games will be captured using 3D cameras, football's governing body Fifa said.

Italian man sells voodoo dolls of Berlusconi
As if Italy's prime minister did not have enough worries already, he now risks a public needling after the launch of voodoo Silvio Berlusconi dolls covered with choice quotes from the gaffe-prone Italian prime minister.
An Italian businessman announced the sale of the dolls on the same day that a Mafia witness linked the 73-year-old Berlusconi to the Mafia and a corruption case against him resumed. Berlusconi has denied any wrongdoing.

Rund 1200 Konzerte später sei Volksmusik noch immer toll, Österreich ein bisschen weniger rassistisch und die Kapelle endlich auch bei "Tschuschen" beliebt, sagt Gründer, Sänger und Gitarrist Slavko Ninić im Gespräch mit Maria Sterkl. Auf dem FPÖ-Parteitag würde er nicht spielen, sagt Ninić - glaubt aber auch nicht, dass er eingeladen wäre.
