Great Britain’s vote to exit the EU sends Europe’s space sector scrambling for answers
Even more surprising than Britain’s June 23 vote to leave the European Union was the fact that so few people, in Britain or elsewhere, had seriously considered the consequences of a pro-Brexit vote. Polls had consistently predicted the decision could land either way. But U.S. and European stock markets had nonetheless risen on the assumption that the stolid British, after flirting with an exit, would elect to remain married to the EU. Starting at dawn June 24, that all collapsed in a collective sky-is-falling dread that Britain would be exiting all European space programs, forcing the remaining nations to react.

After Medical Marijuana Legalized, Medicare Prescriptions Drop For Many Drugs
Prescription drug prices continue to climb, putting the pinch on consumers. Some older Americans appear to be seeking an alternative to mainstream medicines that has become easier to get legally in many parts of the country. Just ask Cheech and Chong. Research published Wednesday found that states that legalized medical marijuana — which is sometimes recommended for symptoms like chronic pain, anxiety or depression — saw declines in the number of Medicare prescriptions for drugs used to treat those conditions and a dip in spending by Medicare Part D, which covers the cost on prescription medications.

This Scarf Hides Your Face if Flash Photography is Used
Dutch designer Saif Siddiqui has created a fashionable scarf that hides your face when flash photography is used. The concept first struck Saif in 2009 when he took a photo of friends in Amsterdam and a nearby bike’s reflector obscured everyone in the photo.
Six years later, Saif unveiled a line of ‘anti-flash’ wearables under the brand name, Ishu. The self-proclaimed ‘invisibility cloaks’ were first released as scarves, but Ishu has since created a tie, pocket square and phone case that are also anti-flash.

TrumpScript
TrumpScript is a language based upon the illustrious Donald Trump. As the undeniably best presidential candidate in the 2016 language, we found that the current field of programming languages does not include any that Trump's glorious golden combover would approve of. TrumpScript is our solution to this. It's the programming language Trump would approve of. Just like he is making America great again, we hope our efforts will make programming great again.

What Are the Most Popular Marijuana Products?
This post is adapted from Headset Inc. Cannabis Intelligence, a Priceonomics Data Studio customer. Does your company have interesting data? Become a Priceonomics customer.
There are a lot more ways to get high than there used to be. Due to the legalization movement and proliferation of cannabis dispensaries, if marijuana users don’t feel like rolling themselves, they can pick up something pre-rolled. And if they don’t feel like smoking at all, they can get their high by eating a cookie or drinking a soda. So which products are most popular? And will Edibles or drinks ever become the primary way users get high?

Statement by FBI Director James B. Comey on the Investigation of Secretary Hillary Clinton’s Use of a Personal E-Mail System
Good morning. I’m here to give you an update on the FBI’s investigation of Secretary Clinton’s use of a personal e-mail system during her time as Secretary of State. After a tremendous amount of work over the last year, the FBI is completing its investigation and referring the case to the Department of Justice for a prosecutive decision. What I would like to do today is tell you three things: what we did; what we found; and what we are recommending to the Department of Justice. This will be an unusual statement in at least a couple ways. First, I am going to include more detail about our process than I ordinarily would, because I think the American people deserve those details in a case of intense public interest. Second, I have not coordinated or reviewed this statement in any way with the Department of Justice or any other part of the government. They do not know what I am about to say.
"Although there is evidence of potential violations of the statutes regarding the handling of classified information, our judgment is that no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case."

Kamikaze Taube

Journalistic Standards at the Guardian
Perhaps they will be able to induce individuals to give £10 a month, £120 will buy Polly Toynbee one lunch at the Ivy. But apart from the ethics of asking ordinary people to fund some of the most overpaid people in the country, there are questions about the claims which Viner makes. She talks of Guardian journalism as “well-sourced”, “calm”, “intelligent”, “in-depth”, “thoughtful” and “well-resourced.”

Neutrinos hint at why antimatter didn’t blow up the universe
It could all have been so different. When matter first formed in the universe, our current theories suggest that it should have been accompanied by an equal amount of antimatter – a conclusion we know must be wrong, because we wouldn’t be here if it were true. Now the latest results from a pair of experiments designed to study the behaviour of neutrinos – particles that barely interact with the rest of the universe – could mean we’re starting to understand why. Neutrinos and their antimatter counterparts, antineutrinos, each come in three types, or flavours: electron, muon and tau. Several experiments have found that neutrinos can spontaneously switch between these flavours, a phenomenon called oscillating.
