Russia's Fish Fight For Oxygen In St. Petersburg Ponds
Fish cluster at an ice hole, covered with thin pieces of ice, struggling for air in a pond in a park in St. Petersburg, Russia. As the long Russian winter drags on, fish in the ponds of St. Petersburg become increasingly desperate for oxygen, clustering in vast, thrashing masses at shrinking holes in the ice. Not only does ice block oxygen that could be diffused into the water from the air, but it also impedes sunlight from reaching oxygen-generating plants and algae in the water.

Fraunhofer Peers Into The Mobile 3D Market
One of the most quickly expanding markets in the visual industry is the world of 3D television and movies, and German research firm Fraunhofer has found a way to make the third dimension mobile.
Researchers at Fraunhofer have combined the new mobile radio standard LTE-Advanced with a video coding technique. This puts 3-D films on your cell phone. The experts will be presenting their solution from February 14-17 in Hall 2, Stand E41 at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

"Kampftruppen" für die DVU und "Heil Hitler"-Rundschreiben vom Parteinachwuchs: Die mehr als 60.000 internen E-Mails der NPD, die mehreren Medien vorliegen, zeigen eine Partei am Anschlag. SPIEGEL ONLINE dokumentiert vier interne Vorgänge.
"Unsere Stärke liegt in der Einheit und Geschlossenheit", so tönt es am Samstag von der NPD-Website als Reaktion auf ein riesiges Datenleck bei der rechtsextremen Partei. Mehr als 60.000 E-Mails, verschickt im Zeitraum zwischen März 2010 bis Januar 2011, wurden SPIEGEL ONLINE und weiteren Medien anonym zugespielt. Inklusive der Dateianhänge belegt der Datenberg 13 Gigabyte Speicherplatz.

Stuxnet blitzed 5 Iranian factories over 10-month period
The Stuxnet worm repeatedly attacked five industrial plants inside Iran over a 10-month period, according to new data collected by researchers from antivirus firm Symantec.
Three of the undisclosed organizations were targeted once, one was hit twice and one was targeted three times, members of Symantec's Security Response Team wrote in the report (PDF), which updates findings first released in September. The attacks took place in 12,000 separate infections in 2009 and 2010 and weren't discovered until July.
