Russian car has seats made from whale penis
A Russian armoured-car builder is boasting that its latest vehicle has seats covered with “whale-penis leather”.
The €1 million Dartz Prombron Monaco Red Diamond Edition armoured car has been developed by the same company, RussoBaltique, that built armoured vehicles for Tsar Nicholas, Vladimir Lenin and Leon Trotsky.

Policeman and retired Guardia Civil arrested for drug trafficking in Málaga
A National policeman and a retired Guardia Civil have been arrested in Málaga for drug trafficking. There are at least six arrests in total in the operation which has recovered 1,300 kilos of hashish.

USA: Regierung genehmigt Marihuana als Medikament
Die US-Regierung hat grünes Licht für den medizinischen Einsatz von Marihuana gegeben, sofern dies von Gesetzen in den Bundesstaaten gedeckt ist. «Es hat für uns keinen Vorrang, Ressourcen des Bundes für die strafrechtliche Verfolgung von Patienten oder ihren Betreuern einzusetzen, wenn dies den Gesetzen der Staaten entspricht», teilte US-Justizminister Eric Holder mit. Zugleich werde die Regierung aber nicht dulden, dass sich Drogenschmuggler hinter solchen Richtlinien versteckten. 14 US-Bundesstaaten haben den Einsatz von Marihuana für medizinische Zwecke in der einen oder anderen Weise legalisiert.

Gallup Poll Shows Record Support for Marijuana Legalization
Gallup's October Crime poll finds 44% of Americans in favor of making marijuana legal and 54% opposed. U.S. public support for legalizing marijuana was fixed in the 25% range from the late 1970s to the mid-1990s, but acceptance jumped to 31% in 2000 and has continued to grow throughout this decade.

Feds to Stop Medical Marijuana Prosecution
Federal drug agents won't pursue pot-smoking patients or their sanctioned suppliers in states that allow medical marijuana, under new legal guidelines to be issued Monday by the Obama administration.
