8 Awesome Skateboard Images: No Fisheye Lens Needed
In photography, a fisheye lens is a wide-angle lens that takes an extremely wide hemispherical image. The fisheye lens was originally developed for use in meteorology and astronomy and called "whole-sky lenses", fisheye lenses quickly became popular in general photography for their unique, distorted appearance. Photographers and videographers use fisheye lenses so they can get the camera as close as possible for action shots, for example in skateboarding. Here are some examples of skateboarding action shots taken without the use of the fisheye lens so it its possible to get a great quality skateboarding image without using a fisheye and getting that distorted effect.

Malaysia's brain-damaged government declares H1N1 flu is caused by masturbation and homosexuality.
Every so often there's a story on the global health circuit that is so absurd, it causes our proverbial record to scratch. Like the time that South Africa's former Health Minister, Manto Tshabalala-Msimang, said that ingesting lemon juice and potatoes could help treat HIV. Or when evangelical groups like Word Relief, who received millions of U.S. federal dollars in PEPFAR funding under President George W. Bush, told people in countries like Mozambique, Kenya and Haiti that condoms don't work to prevent STDs.
Well, now it's time to count Malaysia's government-run news service as part of the global health lie factory. Today they're out with an article from a physician that says homosexuality and masturbation make the body an easy target for Swine Flu (otherwise known as H1N1). The scary part is that the news service in question, Bernama, runs their stories in nearly every part of the country. Lies and misinformation, get ready to spread.

Invention Uses Mountain Dew for Fuel
It’s called the Geet Sytstem. Basically, it’s a fuel booster system that can connect to any engine.
Patone said the best part is that the Geet System creates zero pollution.
The engine isn’t exactly full of soda pop. Patone said the complex pipe system vaporizes the fuel before it reaches the engine.
“I haven’t invented the engine; all I’ve invented is the fuel delivery system. And this system will fit a gas engine, a diesel engine, a furnace, a boiler, it will fit anything including jet turbines,” Patone said.
