Actual Album Cover Parodies
Some albums are not just iconic, but their cover artwork is as well. Plenty of groups have released album covers with homages to more famous album covers. Sources for parody covers tend to be parody albums based on a performer (like Weird Al spoofing Nirvana), tribute albums, and sometimes the rip off is unintentional (designers with a limited design vocabulary). In some cases like the Clash's "London Calling", the copy becomes copied over time to the point where I'm sure some people aren't even aware of the original anymore.

Just in, this new über-flykiller which employs a vacuum and internal tube adhesion — sort of like an automatic Jabba the Hutt — to suck flies in when you pull the trigger.

Police identify 200 children as potential terrorists - Drastic new tactics to prevent school pupils as young as 13 falling into extremism
Two hundred schoolchildren in Britain, some as young as 13, have been identified as potential terrorists by a police scheme that aims to spot youngsters who are "vulnerable" to Islamic radicalisation.
The number was revealed to The Independent by Sir Norman Bettison, the chief constable of West Yorkshire Police and Britain's most senior officer in charge of terror prevention.
He said the "Channel project" had intervened in the cases of at least 200 children who were thought to be at risk of extremism, since it began 18 months ago. The number has leapt from 10 children identified by June 2008.

Telekom-Paket: Blackout Europe
Um Aufmerksamkeit auf die derzeitigen Verhandlungen rund um das Telekom-Paket auf EU-Ebene zu legen, gibt es jetzt von auch die irisch-englische Kampagnen-Seite “Blackout-Europe” samt Facebook-Gruppe. Ein Element der Kampagne sind die Briefe an die EU-Abgeordneten, die wir am Donnerstag schon in einer deutschen Übersetzung gepostet haben. Man kann auch Avatar-Bilder in seine Social-Media Profile übernehmen, um für die Aktionen zu mobilisieren. Weitere Aktionen sollen folgen und werden auch noch gesucht. Werdet aktiv und macht mit!

A vast electronic spying operation has infiltrated computers and has stolen documents from hundreds of government and private offices around the world, including those of the Dalai Lama, Canadian researchers have concluded.

Riesiges Computer-Spionagenetzwerk entdeckt
Kanadische Forscher vom Information Warfare Monitor (IWM) haben ein Computer-Spionagenetzwerk entdeckt, das rund 1.300 Computer in 103 Staaten infiltriert und zur Überwachung benutzt hat.
Laut den Forschern befanden sich Computer von Botschaften, Außenministerien, der NATO und des Dalai Lama unter den infizierten Rechnern. Betroffen seien unter anderem Computer, die in Brüssel, London und New York stünden, berichtete die "New York Times" ("NYT"). Der Report wurde der Zeitung vorab zugespielt.
