Eine neue Serie von Warnungen erreicht den DHV. Bayrische Cannabiskonsumenten haben sich eine Bleivergiftung zugezogen. Im Raum Celle bei Hannover ist jemand mit einer Quecksilbervergiftung nach Cannabiskonsum im Krankenhaus gelandet.

Holder may end federal raids on medical marijuana clubs - video
Attorney General Eric Holder told reporters that he will keep President Obama’s campaign promised with regards to medical marijuana. “What the president said during the campaign, you’ll be surprised to know, will be consistent with what we’ll be doing in law enforcement. He was my boss during the campaign. He is formally and technically and by law my boss now. What he said during the campaign is now American policy,” said Holder

The trial of the Pirate Bay operators in Sweden has generated huge amounts of media coverage. But one of the most interesting things about Pirate Bay hasn't got a mention.
In his daily dispatches for WiReD, court correspondent Oscar Schwartz swoons over the boyish charm of "likeable" and "winning" Pirate Bay PR guy Peter Sunde. But there seems to be something about Pirate Bay that no one wants you to read: its debt to one of the most notorious fascists in Europe.

Galaxy may be full of 'Earths,' alien life
As NASA prepares to hunt for Earth-like planets in our corner of the Milky Way galaxy, there's new buzz that "Star Trek's" vision of a universe full of life may not be that far-fetched. An artist's impression shows a planet passing in front of its parent star. Such events are called transits.

Some of the oldest words in English have been identified, scientists say.
Reading University researchers claim "I", "we", "two" and "three" are among the most ancient, dating back tens of thousands of years.

Fische hatten schon vor 380 Millionen Jahren Sex
Eiablage und anschließende Befruchtung: So lief Fortpflanzung bei Wirbeltieren vor 380 Millionen Jahren ab - dachten Forscher zumindest bisher. Stimmt nicht, sagen britische und australische Paläontologen. Sie haben anhand von Fossilien herausgefunden: Die Fische befruchteten damals schon intern.
