Taiwan Makes Fastest 60GHz Wireless System on a Chip, 100 times Wifi Speed for less than $1
The NTU research team claims that the transmission speed of the chip is 100 times as fast as WiFi and 350 times as fast as a 3.5G cell phone. Lee indicated that the chip size has been reduced to 0.5 millimeter, one-tenth of that of existing chips, and the cost is less than one-tenth of the traditional communication module and could be further lowered to only US$1.

Ten and a half tons of hashish recovered in Almería province
14 people have been arrested in connection with the seizure of ten and a half tons of hashish in Almería province. The Guardia Civil have carried out four separate operations over the last weekend on beaches in the province.
The first raid was at 4am on Saturday on the Conda beach in Adra where 81 bales containing 2,640 kilos of the drug were recovered.

When you think of Victoria’s Secret, images of super hot chicks in sexy lingerie come to mind. But there is currently a lawsuit against Victoria’s Secret, and allegations of the VS brand bras containing formaldehyde are being investigated. The ladies behind the lawsuit state that the Victoria’s Secret bras caused severe itching and nasty rashes. Sounds sexy eh?

EU looks into telecoms blocking Internet calls
European Union regulators are looking into whether mobile phone operators who block customers from making inexpensive wireless calls over the Internet are breaking competition rules.
The European Commission, the EU antitrust authority, has sent questionnaires to phone companies asking what "tools" they use to "control, manage, block, slow down or otherwise restrict or filter" Internet-based voice calls.
