New Light Glows For 12 Years
Litroenergy is a new type of material that emits light for 12 years without needing electricity or sun exposure. The self-luminous micro-particles are called Litrospheres and are said to be non-toxic and inexpensive. The light is said to be equivalent to a 20 watt incandescent bulb (lumens please?).

The future is bright for LEDs
New generation Light Emitting Diodes will purify water, make lights that mimic the colour of sunshine, and keep private data immune from hackers.
Dr Rachel Oliver, an LED researcher from the University of Cambridge, thinks that they could easily succeed tungsten bulbs as the main way to light our homes.

Pot cave sold to cheesemaker for $285,000
A home built above a large cave that once housed a sophisticated underground marijuana operation may have a delicious - and legal - future.
Authorities seized the home in 2005 after finding more than 850 marijuana plants growing under lights in two secured, 100-yard-long underground rooms connected to the home.

Amy Winehouse on Deathbed?
We caught up with Amy Winehouse as she was visiting her jail bird hubby Blake at a Pentonville Prison in London today. Wino ain't lookin so hot. It seems like her life is unraveling just like her hairdo. Poor Wino, she just seems so upset and that outfit of hers...well, it's getting kind Britne-esque in its kooky factor.
