Nobody is ever going to look cool on a Segway, but that hasn't stopped some optimistic folks from trying. There looks to be a whole underground movement dedicated to customizing the nerd-mobile.

Really strange fashion of painting psychedelic things on the walls of houses deep in Moscow suburbs seems to progress. This one is most impressive - just imagine all those common low-class people leaving inside those houses doing their everyday things like washing stuff or drinking or eating and watching TV, but now they don’t do all this things inside dull gray boxes of concrete but inside something that looks like just stepped out from Japanese animation..

Prince Asks Fans To Stop Being Fans
Prince’s devotees are in danger of being formerly known as fans after the American pop star threatened to sue them for breach of copyright for using his image.
His lawyers have demanded that the three biggest unofficial websites dedicated to the singer, set up by his fans, remove all of the musician’s photographs, lyrics and album covers.

Der US-Musiker Prince lässt Bilder, Song-Texte und Album-Cover von Fansites entfernen. Prince-Fans sind brüskiert und sprechen von einem Angriff auf die freie Meinungsäußerung.
Vor kurzem ließ Prince Unterlassungserklärungen an drei Fansites verschicken, in denen verlangt wurde, dass Bilder, Song-Texte und Album-Cover des Musikers umgehend aus den Online-Communitys entfernt werden müssen.

Police station no place to smoke weed
A man is facing drug charges after he allegedly walked into the Danbury police station puffing on a marijuana-filled cigar.
Capt. Robert Myles says Scott Snow walked into the station early Saturday and blew smoke from his cigar into a small opening in the bullet-resistant glass separating desk officers from the public.

Man arrested after reporting pot theft
A man was arrested for drug possession after telling authorities that two masked gunmen had stolen 150 pounds of marijuana from his home.
Hidalgo County sheriff's deputies arrived at the home near Penitas in South Texas to find the door kicked in and nearly 15 pounds of pot lying on the floor, Sheriff Lupe Trevino said.

Swiss study surprises on marijuana use
A study of more than 5,000 youngsters in Switzerland has found those who smoked marijuana do as well or better in some areas as those who do not, researchers said.
But the same was not true for those who used both tobacco and marijuana, who tended to be heavier users of the drug, said the report from Dr J C Suris and colleagues at the University of Lausanne.

Someone's posted examples of artwork created by patients that were undergoing LSD psychotherapy when it was originally trialled by Stanislav Grof, before research in this area was suspended by panicked world governments when the drug became widely used.

For many years, we've been hearing all sorts of bizarre and crazy ideas for different methods of offering broadband. A popular one tends to be with flying devices of some sort. For a while we heard all sorts of stories about hideous-looking floating blimps called stratellites that would get press every six months or so, but which never actually launched anywhere.
