International Bloggers' Day for Burma on the 4th of October
International bloggers are preparing an action to support the peaceful revolution in Burma. We want to set a sign for freedom and show our sympathy for these people who are fighting their cruel regime without weapons. These Bloggers are planning to refrain from posting to their blogs on October 4 and just put up one Banner then, underlined with the words „Free Burma!“.

Manu Chao - Mr. Bobby / Bongo Bong
This song by Manu Chao always makes me smile and feel so positive. There are two versions with same melody line: Mr. Bobby and Bongo Bong. Bonuses: A live version of Mr. Bobby at Werchter 2006 and a… Robbie Williams’ version of Bongo Bong.

Hackers hit back at iPhone update
The war between Apple and the hackers is heating up, after a 'fix' for the recent iPhone update was posted online. Apple's recent update for the iPhone's firmware rendered unlocked iPhones - those that had been modified either through software or other means to work outside of AT&T's network - unusable, and the firm has so far refused to back down from its hardline stance.

Chili-Alarm in Wohnhaus

Chilli compound fires painkiller
A chemical from chilli peppers may be able to kill pain without affecting touch or movement.
This might in theory mean a woman in labour could have an epidural without losing the ability to move her legs, or the sensation of her baby being born.

Top 10 Food Related Movies
Movies about food are the only thing better than food itself and fortunately there have been quite a number of them produced. I have selected the ten I think are the best of the genre and included a small snippet of each below. Interestingly only 3 of the ten films here are in the English language - I wonder what that says about the UK and USA when it comes to fine cuisine!
