Ganz harmlos kommt es daher: ein kleines Trojanerchen hüpft in den heimischen PC, kopiert ein paar Dateien und verschwindet dann wieder spurlos. Ungefähr so stellt das Innenministerium in einer dem CCC bekannt gewordenen Stellungnahme den Einsatz der staatlichen Schnüffelsoftware zum Einsatz gegen Terrorverdächtige dar.

Fix an old iBook's video problems... with fire!
Mark Hoekstra from GeekTechnique subjected his iBook's motherboard to successive rounds of burnination and managed to correct the infamous iBook video display defect. Had this not succeeded, I think I'd still have to give him 10 points for style.

Burmese monks defy army warning
Tens of thousands of monks and civilians in Burma's main city Rangoon have defied military warnings and staged new anti-government protests.
Some chanted "we want dialogue", others simply shouted "democracy, democracy".

Some amazing photos of the ongoing anti-government protests by Buddhist monks in Burma
Nearly 20,000 Buddhist monks led as many as 100,000 protesters through the streets of Yangon, Myanmar's largest city, on Sunday, as tens of thousands of bystanders joined in, cheering them on with claps and prayers. The barefoot monks led the march for more than five hours and covered at least 12 miles of ground against the military junta in Myanmar.
