Drug treatment isn't a silver bullet
OK, so you're rich and famous and have a drug problem. You relapse and get arrested. What do you do?
It seems the latest trend in countering your likely conviction is not hiring a "dream team" of legal defenders but immediately enrolling in a rehab drug program.
Lindsay Lohan, the troubled Hollywood starlet, joins a host of other high-profile celebrities, including Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie and the son of the former vice president, Al Gore III, who have adopted this novel strategy.

Use of web archive was not hacking, says US court
The use of web archive The Wayback Machine did not constitute hacking in the case of a law firm which used the web archive to see pages which owners did not want it to see, a US court has ruled.
The deliberate bypassing or evasion of the archive's protection measures could still be deemed hacking, though, said Judge Robert Kelly, the judge in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. In this case, protection mechanisms put in place by the page owners had failed.

World's hottest chile is a ghost
The farmer, a quiet man with an easy smile, has spent a lifetime eating a chile pepper with a strange name and a vicious bite. His mother stirred them into sauces. His wife puts them out for dinner raw to be nibbled - carefully, very carefully - with whatever she's serving.
Around here, in the hills of northeastern India, it's called the "bhut jolokia" - the "ghost chile." Anyone who has tried it, they say, could end up an apparition.

Gary McKinnon, the ex-systems administrator accused of conducting the biggest military hack of all time, has won the right to have his case against extradition to the US heard by the House of Lords.
The decision gives McKinnon and legal team a fresh chance to challenge the extradition, having argued previously that the US authorities acted in an "oppressive" manner to secure his removal from the UK.

Rev. O. W. 'Bud' Spriggs - What The Bible Says About Flying Saucers [mp3]
Try and imagine that Fox Mulder was a conservative 1960's preacher instead of an FBI Agent. One day he records a Religious spoken word LP which shared his view on the biblical connection to UFOs. You might be thinking that would be a corny plot line to Edward D. Wood JR movie, except one gentleman already did it and his name was Rev. Bud Spriggs.

Prince arrives in London for the first night of a mind-boggling 21-date residency at the former Millennium Dome with a familiar sound ringing in his ears: that of people suggesting that he's barmy.
