Global Marijuana March
The Global Marijuana March (GMM) is an annual rally held at different locations across the planet. Cannabis-related events occur on the first Saturday in May, or that weekend, or thereabouts. Marches, meetings, rallies, raves, concerts, festivals, info-tables, etc..

Thousands demonstrate for the legalisation of Marihuana
Demonstrations were held in Madrid and other Spanish cities on Saturday
Thousands of people demonstrated in Madrid on Saturday in demand of the legalisation of cannabis. A good humoured march went from the Puerta del Sol to the Plaza de Oriente, but took a long time because of the chant ‘otra paradita, otro petita’ – ‘another pause, another drag’.

Pot smokers rally for ... um ... what?
There was lots of weed on the grass at Queen's Park yesterday.
As many as 15,000 pot users crammed the lawn north of the legislature building for the Toronto Freedom Festival and the cornerstone event -- the ninth-annual Global Marijuana March.

Austrians set dinner table for 1,800
An Austrian group claims to have set a record for the world's longest restaurant table with place settings for 1,800.
Organisers say the table, set up along a shopping street, stretched 1.2 kilometres.
