$375M Winter Theme Park Planned for Dallas Area


Development plans are in the works and a team of professionals have been selected, now Bearfire Group L.L.C.continues to raise capital for the $375 million winter-themed entertainment venue the firm plans to build within the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex

Bearfire Group has assembled a team of industry professionals to design and build the Coolzone Winterplex (pictured), an entertainment platform with family and extreme sports making it the world's first year-round, indoor/outdoor winter sports theme park.

Horses to be drugged for Stones gig


A plan to sedate more than 300 horses stabled at Belgrade's racecourse to keep them calm during a Rolling Stones concert there has enraged Serb animal lovers who are lobbying to have the gig moved to another venue.

The concert is expected to draw more than 100,000 people to the Hippodrome, Belgrade's largest fenced space. The horses will be only a few metres from the stage.

Marijuana lab explosion injures man


An explosion set fire to a Miami house being used to grow marijuana hydroponically on Wednesday and the force of the blast sent the occupant flying into the yard, police said.

Arson investigators were trying to determine the cause of the explosion, but police said the man may have been using propane gas near the high-intensity

Tiny fossils reveal ice history


Tiny they may be, but fossil diatoms discovered deep under the ocean floor are revealing new details about Antarctica's warmer past.

The single-celled algae were pulled up by the Antarctic Geological Drilling (Andrill) Program, which has been operating from the Ross Ice Shelf.
