Dick Dale gives some his advice re how to stick it to the man (the record label consortium). Basically, he says don't bother signing a contract, make your own CDs, sell 'em at shows, build your own following and keep your own money instead of owing it to Big Daddy Coal Record label.

International cocaine smuggler jailed for 30 years
The drugs baron Brian Wright, who ran the most successful global cocaine trafficking network ever discovered in the UK, was today jailed for 30 years.
As boss of the Wright organisation, he oversaw the shipment by luxury yacht of tonnes of cocaine worth hundreds of millions of pounds from South America. His underground contacts nicknamed him the Milkman, because he always delivered.

Drug smuggling network broken up on Cádiz coast
Christened ‘Operation Espuma,’ it started at the beginning of February and has seized since then 1.2 tons of the drug and confiscated four vehicles – one stolen – and a boat. Three people were taken into custody in that first phase.

The Dutch company Lely has developed SOLAR-POWERED ROBOTS that move an electric fence to make sure dairy cows evenly graze their pastures. Two robots each hold one side of the fence, and move very slowly, which maximizes grass growth and prevents manure contamination. The robots have sensors that monitor the angle and speed of the fence, as well as tautness, and communicate with each other via Bluetooth.

Sniffer dogs find second pirated-DVD haul
Two Malaysian dogs trained to sniff out DVDs have made their second big discovery of pirated movies, leading investigators to a hidden stash worth more than $430,000, a local newspaper said Sunday.
Lucky and Flo, two black Labradors, sniffed out at least 150,000 discs in a secret compartment in a shop in the capital Saturday after anti-piracy officials, acting on a tip-off, raided the place but failed to find anything, the New Sunday Times said.
