Extravis - EXecution TRAce VISualizer
This is the subpage for Extravis, a beta-stage, OpenGL-based software visualization tool that enables users to interactively explore and analyze dynamic program information, i.e., program execution traces. Extravis is part of the Reconstructor toolset. The Reconstructor project aims at raising the state of the art in software architecture reconstruction; more information on Reconstructor can be found here.

Aztec and Mayan Calendars - One of the great mysteries of history
The photograph below is the Aztec Calendar, on display at the Museo Nacional de Antropologia in Mexico City, Mexico.
The original object is a 12 feet, massive stone slab, carved in the middle of the 15th century. Many renditions of it exist and have existed through the years and throughout Mexico.

What Does a One Million Dollar Laptop Look Like?
We've seen plenty of expensive gizmos in our days, most of which are not due to advanced electronics, but this is one of the very few times we've had to get into seven figures. I'm not exactly sure what it is about this laptop from Luvaglio London that makes it so special, but the current asking price on the computing creation is a cool $1 million.

Björk's Real Debut MP3
In 1993, Icelandic singer Björk Guðmundsdóttir, better known just as Björk, recorded her album Debut, which kicked of her solo career after the breakup of The Sugarcubes. What few people know (OK, maybe not quite so few, as it is mentioned in the Wikipedia article and it even got a bad review on AMG) is that Björk's real debut came out 16 years earlier, a self-titled album released only in Iceland, at a time when she was 12 years old.
