2,000 musicians take up N.H. group's challenge to record album in a month
Guitarist Mike Samborn used to sketch out a song, play it, decide he didn't like it and toss it in the trash.
But this month, he doesn't have that option. Samborn is one of 2,000 musicians worldwide facing a March 1 deadline to write and record an entire album as part of the second RPM Challenge. There are no prizes or winners, but the participants' works will be uploaded to an online jukebox.

Prince's Black Bandana!! - Live from Superbowl 2007!!!!
I was lucky enough to catch Prince's black bandana when he throw it off stage last night during the superbowl. Im not a big fan of prince, but catching anything a celeb throws at you is always sweet!! But i am wanting to sell it, if anyone likes prince, this will become a huge collectable later on!! It still even smells like hairspray and sweat. Its all dry now, but still kool, its like having prince right there with you!!!! :D

Skype Reads Your BIOS and Motherboard Serial Number
Well, that’s weird. Skype’s trying to run a .com file, which won’t work on Win64 because there’s no NTVDM. Let’s try opening it in Hex Workshop. Access denied? OK, I’ll terminate Skype to read it. Still can’t?! This thing is really starting to annoy me. I’ll use WinDbg to terminate winlogon.exe to force a kernel panic. I reboot and NOW I can read the damn file.

No corn for oil: the politics of tortillas and ethanol
Many people, including scientists and some big companies believe that we are running out of oil. What oil there is, is located mostly in very hostile environments. One possible alternative to oil is ethanol. Lately, there has been a high demand for ethanol.

Facebook defends teen security tricks
RSA Facebook has defended its privacy protection despite the possibility that this has been circumvented for the first time by an alleged sexual predator.
The teen-tastic site's chief privacy officer Chris Kelly told security experts Facebook offers a robust system to protect identities of its 16 million participants and to exclude pedophiles. Facebook uses a combination of algorithms to spot dodgy traffic with "real-world" social techniques.
