If there were any doubts, federal authorities say, a kilo of cocaine that agents found in the underwear of 81-year-old Josefina Campos solidified a case targeting a large smuggling ring centered in San Antonio and Floresville.
Campos' arrest Nov. 28 is but a piece of a puzzle that became more complete Wednesday as officials announced they had smashed a drug-smuggling cell that netted seizures of more than 210 kilograms of cocaine and $4.5 million in cash.
