Krankenwagen kommt sieben Stunden zu spät
Blindes Vertrauen in die Technik ist zwei britischen Krankenwagenfahrern zum Verhängnis geworden. Weil sie sich auf ihr Navigationssystem verließen, brauchten die Sanitäter sieben Stunden, bis sie ihren Patienten in der richtigen Klinik ablieferten. Eigentlich sollte die Fahrt 20 Minuten dauern.

Blu-Ray Already Ripped on PS3
As soon as we installed Linux on our office PS3, it was clear that trouble would be brewing quickly. We began taking bets on how soon someone would hack the PS3. While we haven't heard of anyone truly cracking the PS3 software yet, thanks to Linux, Blu-Ray movies are now being ripped onto the PS3 hard drive.

Vista vulnerable to malware from 2004
Microsoft's Vista may be vulnerable to at least three pieces of widespread malware, two of which date back to 2004 , according to security vendor Sophos.
At least three well-known Internet worms--labelled Stratio-Zip, Netsky-D and MyDoom-O by Sophos--are able to execute on the OS, according Sophos.

AG München verurteilt Günter Freiherr von Gravenreuth zu 9 Monaten Haft
Nach noch unbestätigten Berichten - die allerdings von einer Person stammen, welche das volle Vertrauen des Autors genießt - hat das Amtsgericht München den prominenten Anwalt Günter Freiherr von Gravenreuth zu 9 Monaten Haft verurteilt. Die Haftstrafe wurde zur Bewährung ausgesetzt, die Bewährungsfrist beträgt vier Jahre.
Günter Freiherr von Gravenreuth ist der interessierten Öffentlichkeit sehr viel mehr durch Serienabmahnerei, sehr bedenkliche Handlungen im Rahmen angeblicher Urheberrechtsverfolgungen ("siehe Tanja-Briefe") und einen ihm sehr eigenen Öffentlichkeitsdrang als durch positiv bewertete Leistungen bei der Rechtspflege aufgefallen. Sein Umgang mit Kritikern gilt vielen als Beispiel für die Untergrabung der Presse- und Meinungsfreiheit durch den Missbrauch des Persönlichkeitsrechtes, aber auch der Gerichte durch Kriminelle und Politiker (Manche sind beides in einer Person, wie es ja offensichtlich auch kriminelle Anwälte gibt.)
