Language spoken by 35,000 in mountains of Switzerland has Google


Not many people have heard of Romansch. But in the future, those looking for websites in Switzerland may find themselves trying to decipher this Latin-linked language.

That's because Google Inc., the Internet's leading search engine provider, is now offering its service in Romansch, a language spoken by just 35,000 people in the mountains of southeastern Switzerland, the company said Wednesday.

Austrian Official's Smooch Causes A Stir


Austria's finance minister is 36 and unmarried, but when he was caught kissing crystal heiress Fiona Swarovski at a Paris airport, it became headline news — in part because he was engaged to his former intern at the time.

A BAR of soap made from fat pumped from Italian PM Silvio Berlusconi after he had lipo- suction is up for sale for £10,000.

Artist Gianni Motti claims he got the fat from an employee of a clinic in Switzerland where the PM reportedly had surgery.

'Killer cow' arrested in Nigeria


Police in Nigeria have detained a cow after it killed a bus driver.

The stray animal attacked the man from behind as he was urinating on a motorway near the country's commercial city of Lagos, a police spokesman said.

"As the man fell down, the cow repeatedly hit him with its hooves and horns until he died," spokesman Olubode Ojajuni told the AFP news agency.
